Dewayne Gore

Hello,

Today is 6 Feb 09.

A couple of days ago,
Dewayne busted his right ankle and leg.

He lives in an older home -
Where there is NO parking along side the house.

He had to be carried by 4 men - up a "goat trail"
the day that his accident happened.

they dropped him twice -
As there was snow and ice every where on the steps
that were hacked out of the hill side that they had to climb.
**************.
Finally, one man simply took ahold of his hooded
sweater and pulled Dewayne up the slope backwards
the last 50 feet to his home.

Quite an ordeal - to carry a hurt man home.
**************.

Evening before last,
The across the street neighbor calls me to tell me
that there are 2 ambulances,
a fire and rescue vehicle down at my shop -
Lights aflashing and all that they do ...

They spend an hour deciding to place
Dewayne of a emergency sled and bring
him back off the hill with a set of ropes and pulleys.

Yesterday, someone brought him home with a cast
on from his knee to his ankle.

I know that Dewayne would appreciate prayer.
And
If anyone in this group - really wants to help ...
He probably will not be able to walk and get off
his house on the hill or 3 months or more.

He probably could use some food and company.
